A Simple, Healthy Yogurt Bowl

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and mornings can be hectic; having a routine that you love and trust is one less thing to think about. This yogurt bowl is a quick, healthy option when made with clean, high-quality ingredients - but however you choose to build it, it’s always delicious. Easy to put together, filling, and high in fiber and protein, it’s something we have almost every morning in our household.

What You’ll Need
Start with Greek yogurt. I use plain Greek yogurt. You can use vanilla or any flavor you’d like, but since I sweeten it with honey, I prefer to keep the base low in sugar.

Then layer on:

  • a small handful of granola (I use Purely Elizabeth because of their clean ingredients)

  • 1–2 tablespoons of organic chia seeds (can use a spoon and eyeball)

  • fresh berries (any kind or a mix)

  • organic raw honey (or any honey you’d like! For help with allergies and immunity, I suggest local raw honey)

And that’s it!

Why It Works
It’s a simple and balanced combination.

You’re getting protein, fiber, and healthy fats in one bowl, keeping you full and steady throughout the morning. An added bonus, chia seeds are great for your digestion, which is a wonderful thing to kick start in the morning. You can drink a big glass of water to aid those chia seeds even more.

The texture is also incredible – I’ve seen a common issue where people have trouble getting Greek yogurt down because of the texture. However, this yogurt bowl, with the crunch from the granola and the juice from the berries, make it much more palatable for people who struggle with this. Overall, it’s just so satisfying!

Pro Tip
To make mornings even quicker and take this meal on the go, these jars are a game changer.

Shop the jars →Prep ahead + breakfast on-the-go jars

You can prefill them with your yogurt base, then add toppings in the morning, close it up, grab a spoon, and you’re out the door.

We use these jars for all kinds of prep ahead, and they’ve held up wonderfully. They’re high quality, very affordable, and made of glass, which was important for us in trying to avoid microplastics.

Final Thoughts
This is one of those meals that feels both simple and considered.

It takes only a few minutes, uses ingredients you likely already have, and leaves you feeling noticeably better than a quick, less balanced option.
